CREATIVE DIRECTOR AND INTERIOR DESIGNER
Sonia Mundey has over 20 years of experience designing and overseeing the installation of interiors for a wide variety of clients.
From top-end country house interiors to restaurants and large hotels, Sonia has led every stage of the design process. She uses her innate sense of style to balance colour with texture and form to create sensory interiors. She draws on her passion and extensive knowledge of interiors past and present to find an innovative balance between period details and contemporary features in all her designs.
Her portfolio includes work for Mendwest Traditional Homes, Queens Hotel Leeds, Harry J Palmer Ltd, Dovercourt Hotel, Holiday Inn – Ellesmere Port & Ashford, Radisson Edwardian, and London Clubs. Sonia is also a regular contributor for the Just About Dorset magazine.
Our name is inspired by The Yellow Book, a cultural quartlery published in the 1890s. With the leading lights of British art and design within its pages, The Yellow Book captured the beautiful forms and creative energy of the arts at that time. As you’ll see from our design philopsophy and way of working with clients, our outlook is firmly 21st century, but just like the original Yellow Book we’re always looking for beautiful ways to brighten everyday life.
